Web Analyst Position Open in Boise

Web Analyst Wanted

If you're someone who not only gets where the Web is currently at,
but also have some informed opinions about where it's going, then
opportunity knocks today.

Naturally, you possess a keen intuition for all things Internet. And you
command a well-earned technical knowledge base with emphasis on data
analysis and decision support practices. You know that marketing and
sales are not the same thing, and you're adept at helping educate
businesspeople about the finer points how this distinction plays out
online.

As a Wirestone Web Analyst you will have the opportunity to help our
clients answer key questions about what is happening (or should happen)
or their site. And because you're as comfortable around people as
you are around data, you'll have no problem jumping right in and
contributing to the cross-functional teams that make it happen.

Responsibilities:

* Generate and automate key metric reports and assuming the role of
Web reporting expert for project related initiatives
* Generating reports from external and internal data sources and
ensuring that team members have the information necessary to make
informed business, marketing and sales decisions
* Write and de-bug page tags
* Configure and customize various Web analytics tools to meet client
business reporting needs
* Support senior analysts and other business units with various
projects
* Assist in various Web analytics projects using data-mining
techniques
* Prepare PowerPoint presentations for client meetings
* Assist in the review and design of third-party Web analytic
solutions
* Work independently to meet multiple project deadlines
* Handle multiple tasks, switches priorities and focuses as needed

Skills:

* 1-2 years of work experience with Web analytics, metrics, and
online marketing
* Experience with one or more Web analytic tools (Omniture,
NetInsight, or WebTrends, Google Analytics, etc.)
* Expert with Microsoft Excel and proven working knowledge of
PowerPoint
* Understanding of Web analytic reporting procedures using log files
and page tagging
* Ability to understand written requirements and generate reports to
meet those requirements
* Understanding of how SEO and paid search works
* Knowledge or experience with JavaScript, HTML, SQL and Web servers
(e.g., IIS, Apache)
* Ability to learn and adapt to evolving conditions and criteria for
success
* Passion for detail with a track record demonstrating initiative and
drive
* A strong interest in business and marketing as well as learning new
technologies and marketing solutions.
* BA or BS degree (or the equivalent combination of education and
experience)
